I am trying to find a definitive answer to configuring Solaris 9 and/or 10 to forward event/system messages to the Orion Syslog database. I know it has something to do with the /etc/syslog.conf file but I cannot find anything from Sun Micro-systems on the format to put it in (keywords and such) the syslog.conf. All I ever come across is how to setup a Solaris box as a syslog server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
