We have several devices that reboot on a regular basis, and would like to be able to schedule a recurring maintenance mode. Is there currently a way to do this?
Would this be a feature request?
I was told this will be in a future release. For now you just have to manually un-manage the Node.
You can schedule un-manage and re-manage. Recurrence is something we'll add in the future.
Denny,
Has the Recurrence feature been added to Orion V9 & V10?
Hi,
you can use the Unamanage Scheduling Utility to accomplish this, it creates a .xml that with unmanage a Node/interface for a specific time.
Also you can use the .xml to integrate with traps or syslogs to dinamic manage and remanage a node/interface.
I've been working to unmanage and remanage our VMWare Servers when VCenter DRS put them in StandBy or resume from standby
Regards
Has the future come yet? Is this available in the GUI?
If it's only available in the Unmanage Scheduling utility that runs on the Main Instance, I'd love a link to instructions for how to use it to unmanage multiple nodes for three hours every day of the week.
Its been about 12.5 years, is this far enough in the future to get around to adding it?
