Before I get started - I am not a voice/telephony person at all so I will give this my best try to describe.
This past Friday I was working with one of our voice engineers to make sure network discovery was setup to add any Cisco UC servers to Solarwinds. We made a few small changes to the job and it is working perfectly.
We are currently have some VNQM licensing and will be adding to it next year. The voice engineers like the tool because they can see issues before they are big issues.
Now the question - for our voice solution we use Cisco Voice Gateway or Cube router - is there someway to sync the configs of these with Solarwinds? The engineers were saying that they have to manually sync phone numbers in the Cube Routers and were wondering if Solarwinds can do this. I know we can push out configs and back them up with Solarwinds but not sure if Solarwinds can do anything with voice. NCM is not one of my strong areas because it deals with all things Cisco and our Network Team takes care of that.
