There are several post from other users about important NCM features but two of my favorites I am still missing.
1. Device Grouping - The flat grouping model in NCM with only one configurable group per devices is not very useful in environments with many devices. NCM needs something like the nested "User Defined Groups" in Cisco Works.
2. Export devices to the "execute script" engine based on policy violations or the "search configs" result.
I like the NCM Policy reporter but without the option to select only the devices with a violation it is very hard to change the config. E.G. I do a check against 1000 devices, and 100 of them have a critical warning. In NCM I have to add all of these 100 devices individual by hand to the execute script option. That is very painful.
I think NCM is on a good way but there is still much need for improvement.
