I have downloaded the Oracle Client from my customer portal page, but when I go to install it all I get is a dos window that pop's up and disappears quickly and nothing happens. Am I missing something?
This is actually an APM issue. This is the NPM forum. Regardless, what you're seeing isn't right; you should open a Support ticket.

Denny was actually mistaken. This is actually the correct behavior for the Oracle client installer. It simply extracts itself to the APM directory. You can tell if the drivers are installed if you go to the "APM\OracleClient" directory, usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\APM\OracleClient" and see five files there.
Once the files are extracted you should be able to start utilizing the APM Oracle monitor, or Oracle application templates immediately. If you continue to have issues after the drivers are installed I recommend you open a case with support.
