Trap Messages

Since install Application Performance Monitor we are getting email alerts from "SolarWinds Trap" for lots of various services etc. starting up/shutting down when they do...this isnt something we've setup and has only happened since APM was installed. Where is this configured?

MJ81, if no one configured it that way, it could be a bug.

If you go to the event log and find the event(s) that triggered the alert(s), you should be able to drill down from there to turn off alerting.

If this doesn't help, I suggest you open a ticket with support.

thanks, i cant find anything in the event log that relates to this...theyve only started sending the alerts since the NPM upgrade from 9.1 to 9.5!

has anyone else experienced this?
