Orion server with more than 4 GB RAM

I would like to provide more than 4 GB RAM for Orion server. I have hardware modules, but unfortunately current OS (Windows 2003 Server R2 Standard) doesn't support more than 4 GB.

What would be the preffered solution: Windows 2003 Server Enterprise 32-bit or Windows 2003 Server 64-bit?

Current setup: Server 1 - Orion 8.5.1, AMv8, Netflow. Server 2 - SQL 2005 Standard 32-bit.

I would upgrade both. Any known issues or bad experiences with performance or compatibility when running 32-bit SQL Server on 64-bit operating system? How about Orion on 64-bit OS?

I've recently upgraded our server to a Windows 2003 Server Enterprise 32-bit with 8GB of RAM and dual quad-core processors. No complaints so far, it's fast as ever. Noticeable increase and speed and responsiveness in the system.

My configuration is very similar to yours, separate SQL and Orion servers, with a few modules. I can't say much about the 64-bit with Orion, but I've heard there is limited benefits to that, other than true support for 64-bit Orion will be coming down the road.
