Interfaces are not identified, I expect it's to do with SNMP?

Hi Guys,

I have been testing this out all day, and can not for the life of me figure out how to have all interfaces identified. I have used the SNMPsweep utility, which gave me the print out below to illustrate my problem.

I am trying to learn about SNMP and MIB etc on the fly, and have hit a stump.

I am not asking to fix my problem, or school me, I am just wondering if there is anything that you can suggest I look into to find out why some respond and others do not.

You mean respond to your SNMP sweep? If so, it's probably because the devices either 1) don't have SNMP enabled, 2) a firewall is blocking SNMP requests to them or 3) the SNMP credentials have been changed from their default (i.e. public and private).
