NPM 12 notifications

Question

Hi all!

Generally very impressed with v12 upgrade.

One thing not so much though: The "Notifications" area insists on reminding me every few minutes that I have used 90% of my licenses. This happens repeatedly, even though I dismiss the alert.

I have enough licenses, so I find this extremely annoying.

Is there any way to disable this.

Run the following query against your Orion database

delete FROM [dbo].[NotificationBlogs]

delete FROM [dbo].[NotificationMaintenanceRenewals]

delete FROM [dbo].[NotificationItems]

Note: This will clear out all the data from the NotificationItems table.

There are dependencies on the other two tables so they need to be deleted first.

I haven't had to play with this myself but from the past I recall that you may be able to eliminate that from inside the database on the [dbo].[NotificationItems] table by setting that to ignore. I don't know if the license count notification generates a new notification periodically or if it is just showing the same entry over and over so you may need to experiment a bit.
