Oracle Monitor Help

Hello,

I worked with one of our DBA's to try the Oracle Monitor. We got it all setup but got the following error message:

"Unexpected error occurred. System.Data.OracleClient requires Oracle client software version 8.1.7 or greater."

He told me that we'd need a newer version of the client software. I downloaded the version that was from the post at the top of this forum. Any suggestions?

The Oracle client installer from the SolarWinds customer portal should have worked. If you want to get the latest Oracle client, you can download the full Oracle installer from the Oracle website. Be advised that the full-sized installer is about 500Mb.

I downloaded the version that was from the post at the top of this forum.

That Orcale Client Installer (from the SW Customer Portal) is for APM 2.5. If you are using APM 2.0, you need to get the full installer from the Oracle.com website (the one Roger refrerred to)
