I've a scheduled job to download cisco configs nightly, but the job is not running. i troubleshooted this issue with a coworker, who informed me that when a job is created in ncm, a windows task is also created. so i checked windows task scheduler and eventviewer. there was an error in which i had to add the user name (windows credentials for ncm) as a "log on a batch job" in the local security policy. i then tested the job in ncm and it worked. so i thought that everything was fine.
the next morning, i checked to see it the configs were downloaded overnight. they weren't. i checked task scheduler again and saw that the task was created and completed. so it's not a windows issue anymore. i checked the view selected job logs and can clearly see the test downloads and any manual download that is performed. I do not see signs of the scheduled job. i checked a couple of posts here on thwack, which stated to check the windows crentials. i re-enter the user and the password and repeated steps, even creating jobs to be scheduled a couple of minutes before real time. the windows user account has built-in Administrators and Domain Users privileges.
can someone tell me if there's anything else that im overlooking?
