Configuring an APM template to poll at a specific time

Good morning, I have created a file age monitor monitoring a single file however I want to limit the # of times it monitors the file.

Essentially I have a file that should be generated at 5:30 AM every day, I only need the system to check the age at 6 AM for 1400 or so sites, I know I can set a poll frequency but this does not guarentee when the file will poll. Is there a way to set the APM system to poll that template between a specific time range so then I can create a report based on the age of the file in store?

Hello Nigel,
you can't set APM to poll as specific time, you can only define frequency of polling. However you could try to write VBScript that would get file age only between for example 5:59 AM and 6:01 AM and during other times it would just return UP. Then assign this script as Windows Script Monitor and set frequency for it to one minute.

Now you get UP status during whole day and only between 5:59 AM and 6:01 AM you get real measurement.
