SAM Application Unknown

Calling all guru's and SME's. I have three application templates assigned to a node, two templates the status is green and has current polling data, the third template status shows up as unknown. Troubleshooting steps I've tried:

1. Unmange template and then remanage ---- No change

2. Test WMI through manually ----- WMI is fine

3. Try real time process explorer ------ It works

4. Try the service control manager ----- It works

5. Change polling engines ---- No change

How can two applications working correctly over WMI and another one not?

It actually depends on case to case basis, do you see an error if so whats the error ? What component monitor are you talking about ? It could be an issue with WMI classes as well, add another test template on the node and include the same monitors that's there in third template onto the test template. Check the trend, if the test template works fine for the same monitors then probably the issue is with job engine else I am assuming it could be happening due to WMI issues
