Hi all,
I have enabled Asset Inventory (AI) on monitored devices, however, there are many devices AI Last Polled Date is not up-to-date as of tod() -1
In the main settings, Asset Inventory Polling is set to 1 day. So my assumption is the AI details will be polled and updated on a daily basis.
This affects by Software Inventory Report, which reports inaccurate data.
Orion env:
1. Main Orion + polling: Polling rate: 29%
2. APE1: Polling rate: 43%
3. APE2: Polling rate: 79%
The devices are distributed across these 3 PEs.
Could the polling server be the cause of non-update?
What could be the cause of this?
How can I check if there are any errors in the asset inventory related polling? I have checked the asset inventory log :C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Logs\AssetInventory. There are many of theses errors:
