Login to NCM with windows account - No username Password prompt

Hello,

When accessing NCM with the windows acccount, the login page has 2 options

Windows account and

NCM Built-In Account

The windows account logs me in successfully, but does not prompt for username and password.

Can this be controlled so that the log in instead prompt for credentials (username & Password)

I could not find in IIS for NCM web to restrict based on users... if you have a procedure would appreciate it.  Also, how can I create multipl local users instead of Windows credentials.. the local account login only works for Administrator, even though I set up additional local accounts on the server with all permissions.  Have the same issue as the beginning thread, the login is cached.. want to force all users to use one 'operations' view instead of individual logins.

You could do it but it is a bit tricky.

The reason IE does not prompt for the credentials is because your logged in account (in windows) has enough permissions to log you in. If you want to be prompted for the credential and not log in with your currently logged on user window credential then you will need to restrict access in IIS to the website for allowing only users that you want to allow access to the website. This way when your logged in user fails to access the website you will get prompted for credentials. The other thing you could do is remove permissions from NCM for your currently logged on user.

The only way I get it to prompt for credentials is to use a non Microsoft (aka Internet Explorer) browser like Firefox.
