Backing up a Radware Appdirector (runing config that is)

Hey all. I am able to successfully define the device in NCM and test good verifying snmp creds read/write. Just need a little help on how to download a running config itself. All I'm getting currently is the below:

appdirector         AppDirector parameters
classes             Configures traffic attributes used for classification
device              Device settings
health-monitoring    Advanced Health Monitoring
help                Displays help for the specified command
login               Login into the device
logout              Logout of the device
manage              Device management configuration
net                 Network configuration
nslookup            Queries the DNS server.
performance         AdPerformance
ping                Pings a remote host.
reboot              Reboot the device
redundancy          Redundancy settings
security            Device Security
services            General networking services
shutdown            Shutdown
ssh                 SSH to a remote host.
statistics          Device statistics configuration
system              System parameters
telnet              Telnets to a remote host.
trace-route         Measures hops and latency to a given destination.
    Unknown command

Copy the config that works for logging in.

Change current <Command Name="DownloadConfig"

<Command Name="DownloadConfig" Value="system config immediate"/>

Change Template of the Appdirector to the new file you created. Don't forget to change other pertinent info the the new file like the name of the device.

You will need to call the vendor and ask if there is a CLI command to dump the entire config. I don't remember that being the case but it's been a while since I've been in one of their devices.

I also wanted to add that the answer to your questions is below. The following command from the CLI will display the running configuration on the device.

Command: system config immediate

Thanks! I was able to obtain the device info by issuing the system device-info command from the execute command script option. So I will call support now.

So it appears that the following command can be used to send the active config to a tftp server:

system config download [file] [Tftp Server IP] [file type]

We would like to display and use the various versions of the configs like we do for our Cisco and Juniper configs. Looking for ideas on how to accomplish this. Custom job?

Does system config immediate dump the config to the console. IF so, all you need to do is make a device template for it with that command

Thanks Doune, this helped solving the connection problem, when I switched from Auto Determine to Radware DeviceType. Do you know the use of that command-line: <Command Name="AllocatePty" Value="False"/> ?
