Can I change the average response threshold?

I am a new user to Orion and have been building up my network.

I have sites that are giving me over 200 m/s response times which are not really erroring that is just the response we get due to the network we are using to get to the devices. I would like to increase the alert time to 300m/s as I am currently getting a lot of alerts in my event log. (I am getting a reponse time of around 210 - 240 m/s on most of the deices we monitor)

I can not find where I can change this particular threshold.

I am using:

Package	Orion NPM v9 SL500
Version	9.5.0
Release	Orion 9.5.0 May 2009

Any advice on where I should be looking to change this setting would be most appreciated.

Changing the advanced alert did fix my problem, thanks for the help

Hi,

Check the Thresholds in:

1) Web Console > Admin > NPM Settings

2) Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > System Manager

Click on Alerts.

Edit the Basic and/or Advanced Alert configured to trigger actions based on the response time.

Thanks for the response.

I have changed my threshold in Basic Alerts - High Response Time Monitoring.

The thresholds where set to trigger at 200m/s and reset at 100 m/s which seemed to match my events.

I changed these to trigger at 350 m/s and reset at 150 m/s but I am still getting events like the one shown. Am I changing the wrong alert?

Are you using Advanced Alerts? You did not specify in your message if you checked them as well.

Sorry, looks like I missed that one, I have changed the advanced alerts as well now and will let you know if that has fixed the issue.
