Grouping within Orion System Manager?

Within Orion System Manager is it possible to group the items on the left hand of the screen instead of having a huge list of indivdual items? We have over 500 devices and the list is looking pretty ugly.

There is a lot of customization you can do. Initially I formed the front page into two columns with Cisco kit on the left and Windows kit on the right. Now I just have a geographical map with a handful of tiny icons for groups of services.

Perhaps I’ll post my front page – start a new thread with everyone's examples!

Yep, I agree completely. It just screams "Dynamic Grouping" needed !!

Because of the System Manager architecture (the System Manager talks directly to the Polling Engines), grouping is not possible within the Node tree. It's available on the Orion Web, but not possible at this time in the System Manager.

"Dynamic Grouping" in the System Manager is a priority and working in a newer prototype version (not available yet) where the System Manager does not need to speak with the Polling Engines. But, there is still a LOT of unrelated development work required before it can be released.

Sorry, not an option at this time.
