Monitor Individual IIS Web Sites on same IIS server

Hi,

We are looking to monitor individual web sites hosted on the same IIS web server.

We just need to know whether the site is started or stopped (available for use).

What would be the best way to achieve this?

Setup an application monitor with an HTTP component monitor for each site. Modify the HTTP component monitors to point to the sites that you wish to monitor.

Thanks - we were making this more complicated than we should have - found the solution on our own in the end but thanks anyway.

AppInsight for IIS, which is part of the SAM 6.2 beta, includes native IIS Site and Application Pool monitoring.
