Regex help

Our current environment uses HPE switches and I'm writing a rule to looking a certain command on two different flavors of port setup. The issue is if I have both types in the config block the rule flags my trunk.

I figure out the issue with some help. The regex is matching the interface above it and keeps going. Does anyone have a way to stop it from doing this? Screenshot below

I duplicated the setup in a test 2020.2 instance and used the snippet of config you provided a screenshot of and I am not able to duplicate the issue of the last interface being picked up as a violation. I receive the policy rule 'testrule' is not violated as a result.

Are you getting this when running it against a config download and when you enter that config block into the Paste a config block to test against as well? Have you tried manually typing config snippet in as well in the Paste section?

I am suggesting all three tests because there might be the possibility of an escaped character in the config that is being picked up by NCM that you the regex isn't accounting for.

I'm running it against a config that gets downloaded every night. If we paste the config in it actually doesn't pop if I remember correctly. I'll test that tomorrow.
