Is there an easy way to get data?

I come from a world of HP Openview / Performance Manager.  While I like all of the things that Solarwinds provides, I often find myself going back to HP to get recent performance data because I can't find an easy way to run the reports / charts as I did before.

With Performance Manager, I just selected the server or multiple servers, clicked the graph, and clicked draw (see attached screenshot).  It seems the only way I can get this data in Solarwinds is to create a report.  This is more time consuming, especially since Orion doesn't have a Max memory percentage value, which forces me to use a SQL query to calculate the data.

Is there an easier way that I'm missing?

The only way I have found is to create custom views with charts. But they are so busy that they are unreadable.

I wish the Top XX views offered Date selection.

Huge need for what you are wanting and I have created threads on this.
