Device Inventory in NCM 6 broke MacForwarding table collection

After I upgraded to NCM 6 I noticed during device inventory collection the MacForwarding table was no longer being populated.

I opened case 186482 and was told this is a known bug and will be addressed in the next scheduled release set to be early next year. My question was since this is a bug shouldn't it be addressed via a SP or Hotfix quickly? I have a number of reports run that require that info.

I was told by the support engineer to post this issue on thwack to see if I can get some feedback from the pm on what the holdup for this particular issue would be?

Hi Dave - if you would like the hot fix - please open a support case and let them know you want the buddy drop and we can get it to you. I apologize for the "process" but that's how we have to do these things. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I totally agree that this should be fixed/addressed via SP or Hotfix.

This was a working feature (that customers now rely on) and was broken by Solarwinds upgrade.

I had identified this problem long ago (back in mid-june ... )

Still waiting for a fix.
