good question. I have had mixed results with NCM running on a ESX host.. currently, we are setup with the minimum system requirements (1x CPU @ 2.9ghz, 2gig ram). The server has SAN drives, so space is not a problem.

Normally, this app runs fine on a VM - but Im having some sort of issue with NCM currently in that after about 6 months of service, I cannot create/modify jobs. Once I open the console application, right click on a job to edit, it pegs my cpu for about 10 minutes, then forgets I told it to edit a job..

Got a ticket open, but this is frustrating.
