Linux Script Monitoring

Hi All

I am trying to monitor all SEVERE messages in tomcat logs for the last 15 minutes. I've written a shelll script to this end and am getting the following message while running it from the template page.

But after I submit the template and setup the application monitor, I dont see it reflecting. Refer below image.

Where am I going wrong ? Please advice.

Try adjusting your script to have it return a static number (e.g., 999) and see if that comes through? I'm wondering if given the moving 15-minute timeframe that you're just missing the values from one 15-minute window to the next.
