How to Monitor a Service When It's "Stopped"

Does Solarwinds sees "Stopped" services as "Down"? or Stopped?

And if stopped, how do I alert off of it?

I have failed to find an equal to stopped trigger condition.

the component service that's stopped will be tagged as down in Orion.

You can use the predefined alert "alert me when component goes down"

You can use the predefined alert "alert me when component goes down"

I setup the alert for that specific component. Within the trigger actions of the alert, I set it to alert when the status is equal to "down", "Not Running" or "Unknown". It works very well on our print servers.
