We have created a domain\service account that weutilize for component monitors credentials. My question is, is there a way to scriptomatically change the service account password with in the Solarwinds application. I will try to explain in greater deatil.
We have a 3rd party product that we utilize to spin and store domain service accounts passwords. It tool can then change the password on stored scheduled tasks, DCom objects .... I would like to utilize the tool to spin the domain password for the service account we use for the component monitor. After the password is spun in AD the toll will then change the password that is stored in the Solarwinds Credentials Library. I just need to know if that is possible and where with in Solarwinds is that password stored.
