I'm trying to add a node with an already exitente ip on another node. Please someone could help me please

Orion does not support polling duplicate IP adresses. The only way you can have several nodes in Orion with the same IP is if you poll using an Agent instead.

The first question is: do you want to keep the existing node?

If you don't need to keep the existing node, you can delete it:

Go to the Admin page for your site (/Orion/Admin).
Click "Manage Nodes"
Search for the node.
In the list of nodes that appears, click the check box net to the node name.
Click the "Delete" button (the one with the red "X").
Confirm that you want to delete the node.

Then, you should be able to add the new node.

yes I want to keep the node .. the same ip has several servers that I would like to monitor put even changing the SNMP community (community different for each server) it will not let me adiconar a node of the same ip

Could you clarify please - do you mean there are several virtual servers hosted on one physical server (say, several web servers)? Or do you mean there are several services or processes running on one host, and you would like to monitor each service or processes?
