HP Health Monitoring using SAM 6.2 Agent

Hi,

We just built out a new SolarWinds environment and have been waiting for SAM 6.2 to be released to we can use the Agent to initialise the remote connection to our Solarwinds server as we have systems that sit behind a firewall. We have this all working and the nodes have been imported, however I don't see the health status for some of our Physical HP servers - the option isn't there.

Can you clarify if Health Monitoring is supported when using the agent?

Hardware Health Monitoring is fully supported by the Agent. If Hardware Health isn't listed as an option when you perform a "List Resources" on the node it's likely the HP WMI providers haven't been installed on that server. You should download and install the latest version of HP's SIM and WMI Providers available at the link below. v10 is recommended for Windows 2012 and 2012 R2.
