Configuration Wizard - Orion 7.8.3 on Win2003SP1

Has anyone tried an new istallation of 7.8.3 on Windows 2003 server SP1?

When I attempt to run the Configuration Wizard I get the following error:
Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object
This error occurs upon trying to enter the DB portion of the wizard.

Support stated that this is a permissions issue.
I have used a domain-admin account, local admin account on a member server and now the admin account on a stand-alone server. I get the same error message every time.

My environment is an Orion poller/web server with a dedicated SQL server on the same LAN.

Any direction on getting this installed and configured would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the following Knowledge Base entry. It looks like it will resolve the isssue.

Janis,

That was the fix.
After spending most of an hour going through the install log with support we found that dll did not get registered.

This is also a problem when installing the Remote Admin Pack
