If a service is down for 3 minutes we fire an alert.
What we need is that if a service stays down for longer period, we want it to check the after 10 min, 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour and 8 hour. How can we do this is Solarwinds/
Secondly in alert escalation there is checkbox "Do not execute this Action if the Alert has been Acknowledged", what does this really means and how can an email alert be acknowledged?
