Enabling Hardware Health of Servers by default

Hi there,

I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed somewhere, I did search but couldn't find a resolution. We recently upgraded to SAM 5.0, and I'm really excited about it..but unfortunately, it seems to be "off" by default for all of my windows servers. We have 300 physical servers, so the idea of going into each one, running List Resources and then manually checking the box is a little daunting!

Is there some way that I can turn it on "across the board?"

Hardware monitoring is enabled by default during the import process of Network Sonar Discovery for any node that is detected as having hardware information available for monitoring.

Is there any way to enable it for everything, after the fact?

Yes, you can run a Network Sonar Discovery against those same nodes. It will be detected through this process and automatically enabled through the import process. Everything that's currently already monitored will be ignored during the import.
