how Unmanage relates to reports

I have a node that went down a couple days ago. When i pull an uptime report, it shows availability as 70%. I went and unmanaged the node and backdated it to when it went down, but the availability still shows 70%. shouldn't unmanaging the node bring the availability to 100%?
