Apps which depend on multiple servers

Hi there,

I am currently evaluating APM. It seems like a useful tool which I could really put to use in our environment (especially the APM2.0 features, when released)

Can anyone please tell me how to create an application which spans across multiple servers? We have a complex environment which is host to several applications which depend on three or more servers (and their services) being up... not to mention various forms of external connectivity. If any one of these servers/services/connections goes down, then the application is down. Is it possible to setup an APM template or application which looks at multiple servers all as part of the one application?

That's not available in 1.0 or 2.0, but we're going there soon.

Any ETA on APM 2.0?

Also one other question. Is it (or will it) be possible to specify "business hours" and only report availability/uptime stats for those hours? We are often required to provide uptime statistics on various applications and services, but these numbers are skewed by our maintenance windows as monitoring is 24 hours. When we take an app down during a maintenance window... we should still be able to report 100% uptime due to the maintenance window being outside of business hours.

The business hours feature is something we're hoping to add in an upcoming release.
