I have added the call managers to Orion via SNMP. When I go to assign the Call Manager Template in the APM it asks me for credentials. I put in the call manager ccmadministrator credentials and hit test; it all fails with "no such name".
Hello Darkshooter, error you mention means that target computer doesn't support OID specified in template.
In the first place you should verify that Cisco Call manager on target computer has SNMP configured and exposes it's data through SNMP. Use some SNMP browser to try to get those data.
If Cisco call manager has SNMP configured correctly, check if OIDs specified in template are correct and match those set in call manager.
I'm having a similar error.
Running CCM 7.1. SNMP is configured within CM under Serviceability.
When adding to APM and I run a test, I get "Testing on node <node name>: pending"
It has been sitting for well over 15 minutes.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Hello, hanging "test" can mean that there is some issue with job scheduler service. Try to restart Solarwinds services on APM server and see if it helps.
Hi,
have you tried our new VoIP and Network Quality Manager? It has now support for CCM v 7.x and 8.x. Please let us know if you are missing some kind of important information.
thanks,
Michal
I'm not that familiar with Cisco Call Manager, but are you putting in the Windows credentials..or credentials for the Cisco Call Manager application (if there is one). We use that template and use our domain admin account to poll for data.
