I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on an issue I ran into. I am implementing some new APC UPS in our IDF Cabinets, and wanted to be able to monitor the battery status, and was unable to do so on initial connection to NPM. I could see if it was on the network, but nothing more. UPS was not listed as an option under the List Resources section of the Node. I spoke with Kevin McAlonan, and after a bit of troubleshooting with the SNMP Walker we still were not seeing the information needed, so I contacted APC on his recommendation.
Long story, short, the unit doesn't ship with the needed firmware, and I had to update the firmware on the unit. So just wanted to provide an FYI, in case anyone else runs into the issue with this model.
