Why is Cirrus putting "no pager" onto my PIX?

very new to the product, but.....

I like others am having the Connectivity issues discarding config file. So I changed to telnet and did a "validate login" I get this nonsense:

What am I missing here? Why is this no pager being put into scrip.

d-moore, thanks for the post. Glad to have you on board. When validating login, we essentially run through all possible commands on the device. Cirrus provides device templates that map Cirrus operations (e.g. download config) to specific operations on each device (see this post for more details ).

For Cisco PIX firewalls, we map the RESET operation to "no pager" and during login validation, it tests the RESET operation. You can see this for yourself if you go the Cisco PIX firewall template in the folder: <install dir>\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\DeviceTypes

On a interesting side note, for those who have a MARS appliance, a "no pager" is issued with a MARS unit logs into the ASA/Pix to look at items. Learned this by having a syslog page for anyone who logs into the ASA/Pix at my work and MARS did so pretty much on the hour.
