Create Dynamic Orion Group based on Active Directory group(s) or OU(s)

This question has been asked before (in 2015) here How to create a Group using Dynamic Query of Active Directory OU?​(The solution was to do a one time csv import. I'd like to make something a little more dynamic)

I'd like to know if anyone knows of any new functionality regarding AD based Orion group creation.

In short, I'd like to make a group in Orion that matches a group in active directory. i.e. When I add a server to the Active Directory group it's automatically added to the corresponding Orion group.

Nothing built in had any idea what OU the nodes may or may not be in, but this wouldn't be terribly hard to do through powershell and the API if that's the kind of thing you are into.

Run a powershell script to identify all the AD objects and their containing OU, foreach OU check for an existing group, if none create it, then within each OU check for a match against the sysname's and add them as an object in the group.  At the end probably remove any objects in the OU groups that didn't show up in the original inventory script to have Orion reflect changes.  Set that whole deal up as a scheduled task running nightly or at whatever interval makes sense for you.
