How to add a time filter to an Orion Report?

I am trying to create a report to show utilization on interfaces during peak times. So I want something like "Last month M-F 8am-4pm". It seems I can do this pretty easily in report writer, however the report just doesn't work in the web gui. So I can't schedule it to run every month.

I also cant seem to find an option to just filter time in the web gui for orion reporting. Anyone know how to do this?

Sorry i completely missed the business hour portion of your question. You will now have to delve into SQL for that. I would suggest looking at Business hours reporting in the Web Based Report Writer

i find the time options in the web reporting to be a bit rescriptive, but this is how you would enable them per content section in a report.

1. Edit the table (I think charts have the time option by default).

2. Ensure you have whatever time resource you want to compare against in the table layout.

2. Find this section and change it from No to Yes, and chose your desired settings

3. Submit the table changes.

4. You should now see something like this in the content pane you just edited.

4. Change the "From" drop down to your desired options

5. Test, test, test and then realize you chose the wrong time source in the chart options or what management said they wanted wasn't what they wanted and now they want it some other way.

Let me know if you need any further help with this or if I misunderstood what you were asking. Also sorry for my bad attempts at humor it is just one of those days.

Thats part of what i need. For my report im going to choose "Last Month". The report is for average transmit and average receive bps on interfaces. I want to only use data between 8am and 4pm Monday through friday, so that I don't have data from the weekend and after hours causing the average to be really low. I can choose "custom" but it requires me to set a specific date range instead of just saying "last month, only including days Mondey- Friday and hours 8am - 4pm".
