Monitoring DirectAccess 2012

I'd like to create an alert that sends an email if the TCP Port: Direct Access monitor goes to a down status, but I'm not sure how to do that.  Can anyone walk me through creating an alert that does that?  Thanks.

Does anyone have other ways to monitor DirectAccess or other types of alerts set up?

For earlier versions - Orion NPM Alerts and Events - SolarWinds Certified Professional - YouTube (it says NPM, but the Advanced Alert Manager is the exact same)

Basically, you want to create logic like this for your trigger:

Alert me when Component Status = 'Down' and Component Name = 'TCP Port: Direct Access'

And your reset should be:

Alert me when Component Status = 'Up' and Component Name = 'TCP Port: Direct Access'

Once that is done, the wizard for the web alerts will guide you to creating actions for your alert (i.e., setting up your email). In the older Advanced Alert Manager, just move from the left tab to the right (and leave the Alert Suppression tab alone!)
