moving objects in maps

In version 6.x one was able to move objects on maps by using the cursor keys. Did anyone find out how this can be done in version 7? It seems to be not there anymore. I have tried to hold down the alt or shift key while pressing the cursor keys but the objects just don't move.

When using the Version 7.x Map Maker...
First select the objects you would like to move, then use the arrow keys while holding down the Control key to move the objects one pixel at a time. Holding down Control-Shift will move the objects 10 pixels at a time.

Also, there are layout and alignment tools that can be added to the menu bars. Right click on any toolbar and select "Alignment" to display the Alignment tools.
