Has anyone had any luck monitoring QOS queues with NPM? We have around 30 remote branches and i'd like to see what each router's queues look like for QOS.
Thanks,
Josh
bubowski - first, go to your NTA settings page and make sure the following is enabled:
I think either VNQM (VoIP and Network Quality Monitor) and NTA (Network Traffic Analyzer) would be much better at doing this than NPM.
We do some basic monitoring of it using NTA, you can watch your CBQoS pre and post policy maps graphically and look at the policy details and current usage, as well as getting a graph of your CBQoS dropped packets. Works out pretty nice.
With VNQM you probably get even more, plus the ability to use IPSLA.
Thanks Craig,
Any idea where to find a guide to configuring NTA to monitor and display this info? I've enabled Netflow on one of the routers I'd like to test, but don't see any output of QOS info in NTA.
Thanks again.
Thanks rharland. The option to monitor CBQoS were in the link beside this option:
