Agent non-default port activation

I am trying to evaluate options for using non-default ports for Active (agent initiated) comms, in order to use existing open ports.

If I change the port (from default 17778) during agent install or after, it fails to connect to Orion server.

I have noticed on the Orion Server there is a Windows Firewall Rule, Solarwinds Agent Service Exception', All ports, Solarwinds.Agent.Service.exe.

I was hoping this would allow agents to connect on non-default ports. I have also tried this with Windows Firewall Disabled and from client in same subnet.

So it seems that Orion server is not listening on non-default ports. In which case how can I get it to do so?
