| Question: | What level of access or permission is needed to install and run the SAM agent on a Windows 2016 server or Linux Red Hat 7 server? Does the Agent make SNMP or WMI Calls locally and send what it pulls to the application server or polling engine? |
We would like to look at using the Solarwinds agents to monitor a few of our servers but we are not sure what level of permissions or access is going to be required to install or run the agent, Does the Agent require Admin access to the server to pull any information?
