I am attempting to create a WAN view using GRE tunnels.

I've attached a possible generic solution, but dont' know how of if this is possible in Orion.

If you can get out the information via SNMP I would try with a custom poller.

Sounds interesting. I'm also looking at IP SLA, although I like the idea of building a custom poller too. Are there any guide documents on building the poller?

There are many good videos on the solarwinds website and on the youtube. Just google on it.

What exactly are you trying to monitor? From the document it sounds like you're just trying to get a list of the tunnel destination addresses. Is there anything else?

I'm attempting to monitor the up / down status of my GRE tunnels. I can successfully do this using echo reply operations in PM, just not in EOC. Which is of course where my WAN connections reside.
