I have been fighting a Cirrus slowness issue for months with no resolution. While banging my head over what the issues could be I realized that good old Microsoft, with their automatic updates, installed Windows Desktop search which was in turn indexing thousands of configs every day (I download 3500 configs every night). I am posting this for anyone that might have this issue so that they can fix it. It is something that I know I overlooked for a long time. I did the following and now Cirrus is lightning fast!
Stop the Windows Search Service and disable it.
Go to Task Manager and kill the processes for the windows Search indexer.
I hope that this helps if you are having the same issues!
