how to remove a data store from solarwinds ?

Hi All,

After the storage migration we need to remove few data stores from the Virtual machines from asset Inventory in solarwinds , Normally these data stores gets removed automatically from solarwinds , recently when I verified for one data store it is not getting removed. ( I have verified in List resources and see that the data store is not selected (unchecked) but still it is showing in Asset inventory. I tried doing "Rediscover" "poll now" and freshelyselected the resources with out this data store and repeated same procedure but still it is not getting removed . I would request you to help me on this issue.

Hi badrijoseph‌ welcome.

If I'm understanding correctly, have a look under 'manage nodes' in NPM

Then expand out the VM with the datastore issue where it appears and remove from there.

If this isn't the case then please advise where it's still being seen.

Hi Squincey,

I have tried all th epossible ways ,

1. removed from Manage dnodes

2.checked under Resources , data store is not enbaled under resources

3. Still It is showing under Asset Inventory.(We need to remove it from there)

4, I tried POLL NOW and REDISCOVER also but still I see the data store under Asset Inventory.
