Live Graphing

Hi all,

I have been asked to produce some Live (real time) graphing for our network, the graphs will have to show live/ real time graphing information for our internet connectivity and internal DC connections.

I have seen that Engineers Toolset allows live/ real time graphing, however I was wondering if it is possible to publish this information to a view within Orion (which cannot be edited from in Orion)?

If anyone knows of another method, please let me know.

Could you give an example of what kind of live network data you are looking for?

ie what is the bandwidth utilisation and the traffic breakdown (e.g http is x%, SMTP is y% and Voice is z%)

NPM does not provide live graphing. The reason it does not is because it's more focused on monitoring over time and the extra load on the device, network, and server would be very high if we polled that frequently.

We do have a free tool that allows you to have a real-time graph that might meet your needs. This will only cover interface utilization and will not breakdown the traffic by type. Our NTA product can give you information about interface utilization on type based on the NetFlow data. This isn't "real-time" but updates every few minutes.

Thanks, although that kind of answers my question, it doesn't fully answer it.

Is there no way to plug engieers toolset, which does do live graphing into Orion / into an Orion view?
