FYI, you must modify the Net Logon component in the "Active Directory Services" Application Monitor Template to overide the template from "Net Logon" to "Netlogon". Apparently MS decided to change the service name.
That or copy the template, modify it accordingly and name it "Active Directory Services Server 2008" or whatever you'd like.
Hopefully this saves someone else some time. Didn't take me long too figure out, but it's such a small difference I didn't catch it immediately.
Yes, I have one 2008 domain now. 
Yes we have SQL 2008 in production as well.
