Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to repeat a test when it returns "unknown" result before alerting.
Some of our APM tests return "unknown" result from time to time, just to get back to normal on next pool.
Thanks for helping.

Not directly, but if you know the length of your polling cycle, you can use the "Do not trugger this action until condition exists for more than..." section of the Trigger Condition tab to ensure that the condition exists for a certain amount of time before alerting. Just make sure the time period is long enough that the component will be polled twice before the alert can trigger.
The ability to trigger based on a condition existing for a number of polling cycled is being worked on. We're likely to see it when the web version of the Alert Manager goes live.
The number of retry attempts for SAM component monitors are not configurable, though this is would make an excellent feature request.
I have to agree with both Terry Auspitz and aLTeReGo on this. There's not anything you can do within the product other than lengthen out the alerting time in the Trigger Condition.
