Windows Server 2003 on node is unknown

Hello again,

I have 2 nodes which are Windows 2003 Servers, and I have applied the Windows Server 2003-2008 application for monitoring. I did enter the correct community strings and my SNMP is enabled (in node properties), I don't have the component credentials though which I believe are optional and should not be the reason for it not recognizing the node. So what is the reason that I'm not able to get any information on CPU Load, Physical Memory, Virtual Memory, etc. and even the Application on the node is totally unknown and the node icon is blinking grey?

I would realy appreciate any help and advice.

Hi, Naghmeh.

If Orion NPM cannot connect to the node, you should fix that before you use any Orion APM monitoring.

If it is the same version as the NPM I'm running, it's 9.1 SP5. I'm pretty new to both NPM and APM. I go to APM through the link from NPM Web Console.

They mentioned that NPM is not for the software side, and that I should use the APM for monitoring. That's why I posted my question here.
